️Crispy Fried Red Snapper ️

Ingredients :

2 medium red snapper, cleaned and peeled

2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon of onion powder

1 teaspoon of dried thyme

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

1 lime , juice

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch Vegetable oil, for frying Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Lime wedges (for serving)

Itinéraires :

Rinse the red vivan in cold water and dry with paper towels. Make 3-4 diagonal cuts on each side of the fish.

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and oregano. Rub the lime juice over the fish, then season generously with the spice mixture, making sure it gets into the cuts.

In a shallow dish combine flour and cornstarch. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but do not smoke. Slightly tease the fish in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Carefully place fish in hot oil and fry for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Be careful when flipping fish to avoid splashing hot oil.

Remove the fish from the pan and drain the paper towels. Top with fresh parsley and serve with lime wedges on the side. Servings : 4 servings
