The Spicy Cajun Salmon and Shrimp Delight

Ingredients:

2 salmon fillets
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:

Prepare the Seafood: Pat the salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Cook the Salmon: Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Combine and Finish: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and salmon, stirring to combine flavors.

Serve: Plate the salmon and shrimp together, garnishing with chopped parsley for a fresh finish.
