Perfect for busy nights and cooler days!

These Slow Cooker Potatoes are an easy, comforting side dish that pairs beautifully with any main course. With the savory flavor of onion soup mix and optional gooey cheese, these potatoes are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients:
6 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
⅓ cup butter, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
½ cup chicken broth or water
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
Directions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Thoroughly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
Prep the Potatoes: Wash and peel the potatoes (if desired), then thinly slice them, ensuring consistent thickness for even cooking.
Season the Potatoes: In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with the melted butter until evenly coated. Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix over the potatoes and mix well to distribute the flavors evenly.
Add Cheese (Optional): If using, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese to the potato mixture for an extra cheesy layer of flavor.
Layer in the Slow Cooker: Carefully layer the seasoned potatoes into the greased slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth or water over the top to help steam the potatoes to tender perfection.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your potato slices and your specific slow cooker.
Finish and Serve: Once the potatoes are tender and cooked through, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve these delicious, slow-cooked potatoes as a side dish with your favorite meals!
