*Ingredients*
1. 2 pounds chicken wings*, cut into drumsticks and flats
3. 1/4 cup soy sauce
4. 1/4 cup brown sugar
5. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
6. 2 cloves garlic, minced
7. *1 tablespoon grated ginger
8. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
9. Salt and pepper, to taste
10. 1/4 cup pineapple slice
*Instructions*
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.
3. Add chicken wings and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil.
5. Remove wings from marinade, letting excess liquid drip off.
6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through.
7. While wings bake, prepare the pineapple glaze (see below).
8. After 30 minutes, brush wings with pineapple glaze and return to oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.
9. Garnish with pineapple slice,
10. Serve immediately.
Pineapple Glaze:
1. Combine 1/2 cup pineapple juice, 1/4 cup honey and 2 tablespoons soy sauce in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
