Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 large pancakes (homemade or store-bought)
4 slices of crispy bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese
¼ cup maple syrup
Butter (for cooking pancakes)
Directions:
Prepare the Burger Patties:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.
Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
Cook the Burger Patties:
In the same skillet (with some bacon grease for flavor), cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.
Make the Pancakes:
If using homemade pancakes, prepare them as per your favorite recipe. Otherwise, heat up pre-made pancakes in a pan with a little butter until warmed through.
Assemble the Burger:
On a plate, stack the bottom pancake, followed by the cheeseburger patty, two slices of crispy bacon, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Top it off with another pancake to complete your burger.
Serve:
Slice in half and serve your Maple Bacon Pancake Burger warm. Enjoy the delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors!
