Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

For the Chicken Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preparing the Chicken Wings:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or place them on a wire rack.
  4. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Making the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  1. While the wings are baking, begin preparing the sauce. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts and the sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coating the Wings:

  1. Once the wings are fully cooked, transfer them to a large bowl.
  2. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.

Serving:

Place the wings on a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with any remaining sauce on the side for extra dipping.
