Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced thin)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
8 oz penne pasta
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
Season & Cook Chicken:
Rub the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, making sure they’re well coated. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta:
While the chicken is cooking, boil the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and salt & pepper. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
Combine:
Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
