Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for coating)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
1-Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2-Make the Dough: In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add flour, salt, and nuts, mixing until a soft dough forms.
3-Shape the Balls: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
4-Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden. Let them cool for 5 minutes.
5-Coat with Sugar: While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar until evenly coated. Let them cool completely, then roll in powdered sugar again for a snowy finish.
