Baked Chicken Wings 

Ingredients:

1 pound chicken wing portions 

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar 

1 teaspoon garlic powder 

½ teaspoon onion powder 

½ teaspoon ground mustard 

½ teaspoon paprika 

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon chili powder 

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) 

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a wire baking rack over a rimmed sheet pan lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. 

Prepare Chicken Wings:

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. 

Coat Wings:

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until coated. 

Mix Spice Rub:

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, paprika, salt, chili powder, and red pepper flakes. 

Season Wings:

Sprinkle the spice mix over the chicken wings and toss to coat thoroughly. 

Bake:

Arrange the wings, skin side up, on the wire rack. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and bake for an additional 15 minutes. 

Serve:

Enjoy your baked chicken wings with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
