Ingredients:

¾ cup flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup water

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until everything is evenly mixed.
Gradually incorporate the water into the dry mixture, stirring until a smooth batter is achieved.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Dip the fish fillets into the batter, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
Carefully place the battered fish into the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, remove the fish from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.
