Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Season the Steak: In a bowl, season the steak bites with salt and pepper. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cook the Steak Bites: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and thyme (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Prepare the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic butter. Bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the creamy Parmesan sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Garnish and Enjoy: Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy your flavorful steak bites with the creamy sauce!
