Tender Bok Choy Drenched in Flavorful Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

1 pound bok choy, washed and trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant but not browned.

Add the bok choy to the skillet, tossing it gently to coat with the oil and garlic. Sauté for 3-5 minutes, until the leaves are wilted and the stems are tender-crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Pour the sauce over the bok choy, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
