Baked Chicken
Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or breasts)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken.
Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.
In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.
