Ingredients:
• Pork belly slices
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Optional: garlic powder, chili flakes, or your favorite herbs and spices
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pork Belly: Pat the pork belly dry with paper towels to help it crisp up. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and any additional spices you prefer.
2. Preheat the Pan or Grill: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat or prepare a grill. If you’re using a skillet, you don’t need to add oil, as pork belly releases its own fat.
3. Cook the Pork Belly:
• For a skillet: Place the pork belly slices in the hot pan. Cook for about 3–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip as needed to prevent burning.
• For a grill: Place the slices on the grill and cook for about 4–6 minutes on each side until they’re browned and crispy.
4. Rest and Serve: Once cooked, let the pork belly rest for a minute or two, then serve hot.
